Avatar Generations is a free role-playing game that takes you into the fictional world of the popular animated series, Avatar: The Last Airbender. This RPG from SQUARE ENIX lets you meet all your favorite characters from the show and team up with them against enemies that you come across on your adventures. 

Similar to games like Genshin Impact, Avatar Generations allows players to create numerous team compositions of their own choosing and explore a large open world. You can also improve your characters’ abilities by leveling up their skills and providing them with an array of weapons.

Traverse the four different nations

Fans of the Avatar franchise can look forward to the extensive storyline in Avatar Generations that builds on the original plot and provides additional lore. Players can collect and play as a number of characters from the series, including Aang, Katara, Sokka, Toph, Suki, and Zuko. As mentioned above, you can arrange your team of four with any of the available characters and assign them to their own positions.

The game features the four iconic nations from the original storyline, as well. Here, players can freely explore various locations to meet new friends, collect resources, and battle enemies. You also have the option to send a separate team to another area while your current team explores, so they can engage in automatic battles and collect weapons and resources, even without your supervision.

Unfortunately, players can run into a number of issues that can prevent them from enjoying the game. Users can experience issues logging in, even with the correct login credentials and a stable internet connection. There are also instances where the screen will freeze unexpectedly or jump from one frame to another. Certain loading screens can also direct you to a blank page afterward, as well.

Great but still needs polishing

Although there are some visual glitches to take note of in Avatar Generations, it’s still a promising game that offers fans of the series a deeper look into the story’s background and characters. With the ability to build your own teams and strengthen characters, you can explore a large number of possible team combinations. The auto-battle feature also lets you passively collect items while you do other tasks, as well.
